Mr. Samuel Ampofo, National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has observed that his party was by all standards the biggest mass political party in the country today.

He said the NDC reflects national unity by drawing support throughout all the regions and from among all ethnic groups in the country.

Mr Ampofo was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview after addressing an election monitoring, Training of Trainers seminar in Ho.

He said the NDC would want all contesting presidential candidates in the forthcoming December elections to debate issues on a platform for the perusal of Ghanaians.

Mr Ampofo said when that was done; clearly it would reinforce the fast growing notion among Ghanaians that the NDC was the party with answers to the nagging problems of the country.

He said he could not fathom how the NDC could be beaten in the coming elections and that the floating votes would sway in support of the NDC.

Mr Ampofo said the NDC had resolved not to be overtaken by events before coming back to complain.

He said in that vein, a meticulous election monitoring procedure would be adopted to ensure that no party cheated.
