Mr Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi, the President of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), on Tuesday appealed to authorities of the university authorities and all well wishers to help find an amicable solution to the closure of Casely Hayford Hall.

He said the closure of the hall had led to the displacement of students and that some of them had resorted to sleeping in the mosque and cafes on the campus, leaving their belongings in the open.

The hall was closed down on April 2 following violent behaviour of the resident students during their Hall Week celebrations.

Speaking at a press conference, Mr Boadi-Kusi called for the cooperation of the Junior Common Room Committee (JCRC) of the hall in finding a solution to the problem.
