The musicians union of Ghana, musiga has organised a gospel music festival to commemorate Ghana’s fifty years of independence.

The music festival was organised under the auspices of the ghana@50 secretariat.

The concert showcased a significant number of ghanaian gospel musicians.

The crowd was entertained with music from seasoned performers and was also treated to poetry, and brass band music.

With the musiga cultural troupe performing traditional songs as the guests arrived, the scene was set for a lively evening of good gospel music.

The performances were punctuated with the singing of the national anthem, hymns and choreographed music.

The vice president of musiga Diana Akiwumi asked all Ghanaians to celebrate the golden jubilee and to be grateful to god for the peace and stability that the country has enjoyed.
