STARSEARCH – A TV REALITY SHOW WITH A DIFFERENCE

The quest to achieve greatness in every sphere of life needs constant practice and knowledge. Each and every time there is a particular TV program aimed at bringing out the hidden talents of the youth but in most cases the show does not come out or the aims are not clearly stated. One program which has a unique concept and about to take off is Starsearch.

Starsearch Reality Show is a television reality event that seeks to hunt and train the best-undiscovered talents in the field of acting. As a talent reality show, it will become a platform to train new actors under the mentorship of some of the most experienced personalities in the movie industry such as David Dontoh, Veronica Quarshie, Jackie Appiah, Mr. Ashong Katai and Roger Quartey, through series of auditions and innovative programming that will ensure viewer participation via our website and SMS.

Starsearch is produced by Starsearch Productions, an event management organization that seeks to promote youth and talent developments though a combination of creative and innovative events. With its focus to develop and set a unique standard in the Ghana movie industry, Starsearch Productions in its quest to invest into the future of the movie industry gave birth the TV show dubbed “Starsearch Reality Show”.

It will provide a lifetime opportunity for very talented actors and actresses to train and become stars to excel in the movie industry. With key collaborations with production houses, winners of the Starsearch reality show will obtain a unique opportunity to become stars in Ghana and abroad.

The Starsearch project begun with regional auditions in Takoradi, Kumasi and Accra after which a grand final was held in Accra to select the twelve finalists for the television reality phase of the event.

The finalists are currently undergoing a grooming session prior to a six week training program. They will undergo an intensive training program for under the mentorship of some experienced actors and directors from Ghana.

The finalists are Mimi, Dzifa, Dela, Helina, Flavia, Tilly, Ruby, Isaac, Nuru, Ato, Mila and G.G.
