It was a great day for Mary-Anne Acolatse and her husband on July 7, 2007 when marriage vows were made on God’s perfect day for a perfect marriage completed in heaven.

The 777-day saw the union of Joel and Mary-Anne at the Unique Floral Gardens near ELWAC stadium.

Mary-Anne is Metro TV’s news editor and a well-known face on TV.

The nuptial ceremony took place in an ambience of love, serenity, divine laughter and worship.

Chief Executive of Metro TV, Talal Fatal was there to witness the blessed marriage of an employee.

Champagne and all brands of soft drinks were served including our local asana. The bride and groom came in a sleek white limousine.

The ceremony was just as perfect as the numbers 777. It was the crowning of a relationship that started on 13th April 2006.

The wedding was kept under wraps and only those invited were allowed in.

Joel holds a second class (Upper Division) honours in Chemistry and is a laboratory manager with SGS Mineral Services. Mary-Anne holds a Masters Degree in Journalism Studies.
