Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) is one of the few radio presenters in the country who double as MCs for events and are also into artistes’ management, event organizing, among others as a way of contributing toward the promotion of the music industry in Ghana.

KOD who is a presenter on Radio Gold has done almost every program, including ‘African Safari’, lunch time programs, plus the evening drives.

He is now hosting the station’s morning show and reaching out to thousands from his comfort zone behind the microphone and not taking sides even when issues get ‘politically incorrect’.

He has been on radio for a decade now and managed to carve a niche for himself.

KOD is now more of a talent manager and had coached the likes of Daasebre Gyamena, Ofori Amponsah, Nana Quame, Praye, Wutah, Tinny, 4x4 and others.KOD says he would be getting married in December but he still does not know which year it would be.

“Marriage is important and I wouldn’t want to come out of it when I get into it,” he says. “So I’m taking my time.”

KOD as well has plans of becoming a Member of Parliament in the near future, but in the meantime he wants to do some upgrading to tune up for that spot.
