Mid Morning Shows in Accra is one competitive segment in every program line-up and almost all the presenters are really doing their best except very few ones who have to sit up, re-package their programs and deliver them like the known ones do or have a style comparable to none.

One name that cannot be left out when one is doing a line-up of vibrant mid morning presenters in Accra is “Adwuma wura” Yaw Nkrumah the “Pa yerew “man of Hot 93.9 Fm. Many really wondered the face behind the “Pa yerew” or who this gem really is until he appeared on the screens of TV3 on the program “Presenters Guide”.

Adwuma Wura whose childhood dream was to be a Teacher and later yearned at being a Banker has now delved into radio presenting and for the past few years can be rated as one of the promising men on radio. Adwuma Wura passed through the University of Ghana were he studied Sociology and then decided on radio.

He worked on radio with the Tema based radio station Adom Fm when they started operation. As a pioneer member of the station he played very vital role and this made him more popular in the metropolis and beyond. His programs were exceptional; he blended his musical program with some comic relieves which gets his listeners always glued to their seats. He was the host of the Adom Top 40, mid morning program “Work and Happiness” and an old school program where he use to play old Hilife tunes and this program was after the drive.

Less than a year ago he decided to have a change of environment and so switched to Hot Fm the Adabraka based-radio station to continue his adopted profession. Adwuma Wura is the host of the mid morning program “Adwuma pa ye” aired from Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am to 12noon.

To add to his success story in life he has gained admission to the Methodist University where he will be pursuing a second degree program in Human Resource Management. From a reliable source if all goes on well he will probably be getting married in December to a sweet lady in the United Kingdom who is also studying management at York University.

He is a lively gentleman who gets on well with everybody he comes into contact with but prefers relaxing and having fun at home during his leisure hours.
