EVEN THOUGH last Thursday’s Valentine’s Day was not keenly celebrated, couples who stormed the Earlbeam Basement Night Club that day for a show dubbed “Chocolate Nite” had an experience of a lifetime.

The over hundred couples who attended the programme showed signs of having a gratifying celebration as they moved to romantic tunes of the night, while expressing love and happiness.

Aside these, patrons also had the opportunity to learn about the use and essence of condoms, as well as how to properly wear them, including some important sex tips. The programme was hosted by Akumaa Mama Zimbi and her experienced sex doctors.

In a press briefing, Akumaa stated: “I wish that every February 14 will go beyond the celebration of love and chocolate, and be declared as ‘National Condom Day’. My aim is to make the youth accept that anytime you think about love you must think about condom.

And since love is inevitable, the use of condom is inescapable in this present generation.”

The show progressed with the side attraction of chocolate delicacies as a way of encouraging the consumption of cocoa products in the country.

There were a number of gifts and surprises from the Cocoa Processing Co. Ltd., T.T Brothers, High Grade Cakes, Joe’s Kitchen and Vogue Magazine.

Some foreigners at the show, in an interview, indicated they were impressed with such an exciting show in Ghana and promised to come down next year to celebrate the Chocolate Night again with Akumaa Mama Zimbi.

The Chocolate cum Valentine night which started at 9pm lasted till daybreak.
