One of Ghana’s most popular hiplife artistes, Nee Addo Quaynor, aka Tinny, last weekend directed the music video of one of Nigeria’s rising music stars, Ray G.

Video of the track titled, ‘It’s a party’ was shot at different locations in Accra by Tinny’s production team, BARD media.

Scenes captured included vicinities of the Infinity Night Club at Mamprobi, some parts of residential areas in Labone and North Ridge.

Ray G, also known as Raymond Uwoloh in a chat, told Beatwaves that he was in Ghana not only to shoot his video but to study the Ghanaian music market.

“I came here to really integrate myself into the Ghanaian system, and look at the marketing system of Ghana music, as well the advertising and promotion systems.

I’m also here to look for a wife,” he disclosed.

According to Ray G, his second album was being recorded and produced by his brother, Peter of Warlord Records based in Nigeria.

The artiste said he was blown away by the cordial relationship among Ghanaian musicians, and hoped to feature some of them on his album in the near future.

His first album, he disclosed, was titled, ‘Togo Connection’, with 12 interesting songs, and that it was still making waves in the Nigerian music industry.
