American Grammy-Award nominated R&B singer, Omari Ishmael Grandberry, better known as Omarion replaces Sean Kingston in the much anticipated State of the tha Republic Concert scheduled for tomorrow 20 July 2008.

Sean who was billed to run the show with American rapper Fat Joe (Joseph Antonio Cartagena), will not be featured because his managers say “he has ill health.”

But that does not derail the biggest show in the city on Sunday night. The Terror Squad Entertainment Don Fat Joe is hitting it big with Omarion at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

Omarion, an actor, songwriter, record producer, dancer and former lead singer of boy band B2K is credited with founder of the group 2 Much.

B2K's Omarion went solo in 2005 with O, featuring production help from the Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins, and the Underdogs. The title track, released as the lead single, helped send the album to the top of the Billboard chart. His second album, 21, followed in late 2006 and was kicked off by the excellent Timbaland collaboration "Ice Box." Also an actor, Omarion appeared in the movie version of Fat Albert, You Got Served, and The Bernie Mac Show.

Fat Joe's managers have told Exclusive Vista Entertainment, organisers of the show that their client who is currently onboard a flight from Heathrow Airport in London is more than excited to touch down in Ghana. He's expected to arrive by 19:00 GMT at the Kotoka International Airport.
