Nana Akuffo-Addo to tour Brong Ahafo

Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, his running mate, will embark on a tour of Brong-Ahafo from August 30, 2008.

The seven-day tour will take the presidential aspirant to Bechem Techimantia, Duayaw-Nkwanta, Yamfo, Tuobodom, Offuman, Amoma, Jema, Anyima, Kintampo and New Longoro.

A statement signed by Mr. E.K. Kusi, Regional Secretary of the NPP and made available to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, stated that the Flagbearer and his entourage would interact with market women, regional house of chiefs members, officials of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union and the Association of Garages in Sunyani.

Other communities that Nana Akuffo-Addo and Dr Bawumia would visit are Yefri, Nkoranza, Donkro-Nkwanta, Asonkwaa, Busunya, Aworowa, Wenchi, Nsawkaw, Badu, Duadaso, Suma Ahenkro, Drobo, Japekrom, Jinijini and Berekum.

The pair would also meet with the people at Wamfie, Wamanafo, Nkrankwanta, Dormaa-Ahenkro, Odumasi, Wamahinso, Ntotroso, Kenyasi, Acherensua, Hwidiem, Kwapong, Kukuom, Akrodie, Goaso, Mim and Techiman.

The Presidential aspirants would also visit some communities in Pru, Sene, Atebubu-Amantin, Asutifi North and South, Asunafo North and South, as well as Techiman, Kintampo North and South districts.
