The new facilities are the City Hotel in Kumasi and the Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi. Both facilities, he noted, were adjacent to golf courses and therefore offered the hotels and their guests great opportunities to be involved with the game.

The 18-hole, one-day stableford event was held in commemoration of Golden Tulip Accra’s 15th anniversary and attracted 105 golfers from various clubs in the country.

Ladies category winner was J. Hill (41 points, handicap 18). She was followed in second and third places respectively by Victoria Adjei (40 points, handicap 14) and Clara Price (37 points. Handicap 19).

Sai received a trophy, a Golden Tulip rotating trophy, a hamper and Golden Paradise gift voucher (Weekend for two at Golden Tulip Accra) as main event winner. Eight other male and six ladies competitors were rewarded.
