Walk to herald annual PANFEST celebration

The secretariat of the Pan-African Historical Theatre Festival (PANAFEST) in conjunction with the National Sports Council is to organize a PANAFEST, Emancipation and Joseph Day Walk on July 2, 2007 at Cape Coast.

Mr Berefest Amui, Central Regional Sports Development Officer, said the 10- kilometre Walk will start from the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium and end at the same venue.

Mr Amui appealed to interested individuals who wish to participate in the walk to register at the offices of the Sports Council at Siwudu. He said Nana Ato Arthur, the Central Regional Minister, Osabarima Kwesi Ata II, Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Area and Nana Kodwo Condua VI, Omanhene of Edina Traditional Area will be the Special Guests for the occasion.
