KLM honours loval travel and tours operator

Bahmed Travel and Tours Company has received two awards from the just ended Third KLM Awards for its contribution towards sports development in the country.

The awards are 'The Most Promising Agent in terms of Groups' and 'Achieving the Targets of Blue Awards for Ticket Sales in 2007'.

In a citation read before the presentation of the awards, it stated that "You have displayed innovation in your marketing strategy in different marketing segments both in Ghana and outside.

"Above all your community relations programmes have achieved the needed societal input in Ghana, not mentioning your contribution to the Black Stars." Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, Chief Executive of Bahmed Travel and Tours expressed his delight at the awards and thanked all those who contributed to the growth of his organisation.

He said his outfit is keen on providing more support to the development and promotion of sports in the country.

The company has over the past years' provided financial assistance to most sporting institutions in the country. The company has also funded major sporting events such as the SESSA Games, SWAG Awards and Greater Accra Handball competition among others.
