The Ghana Road Transport Co-ordinating Council (GRTCC) on Tuesday directed all road transport operators to revert to the March 20 approved road transport fares following a reduction in the price of diesel.

An official statement signed by Nana Danso Atekoasa Agyemang, Acting Chairman, said the basis for implementing fares that became operational on May 3 no longer existed due to the reduction of the price in diesel to GH cedis 1.20 per litre.

"The GRTCC appeals to all road transport operators, commuters and the public to cooperate for the success of this exercise," it added.
